Ronald “Ron” Sheridan Haigler, 77, born Oct. 12, 1941 passed away peacefully on Oct. 09, 2019 at the Medwest Harris Hospital in Sylva following a period of declining health do to diabetes and COPD.

Alexander Hornbuckle, 81, of Cherokee, passed away following a period of declining health at the Cherokee Indian Hospital on Oct. 6, 2019.  

Donald B. Wood, 72, of Whittier, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019. A native of Jackson County he was the son of the late Walter and Bessie Brown Wood.

Evelyn Taylor Wachacha, 73, of Robbinsville, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on the night of Friday, Oct. 4, 2019.

Edith Enloe Armachain, 90, of the Bigwitch Community, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, Sept. 29,2019.

Amanda Lynn George, 37 of the Wolftown Community, was called to her eternal home Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019. She is survived by her two children, whom she held in her heart as treasures, Breydan and Kieaira, and the love of her life, Roy Bradley. Amanda is the daughter of Martha and Calloway Ledford, and the late Vaughan Albert Sr.

Elba Parker Crain passed away at her home in Cherokee on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019.
