Great Smoky Mountains National Park officials announced on Friday, Nov. 12 that Superintendent Cassius Cash was recently awarded the Walter T. Cox Award for conservation excellence by the Clemson University Institute for Parks.  

To develop staff’s skills and abilities in attachment and bonding, QBHSEHS has embarked on a training investment to support trauma informed care and cultivate skills to achieve these outcomes.

Earlier this month, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians was recognized for his artistic skills at the Alabama National Fair in Montgomery, Ala.
