Earle Dixon, 61, an EBCI tribal member from the Painttown community, attended the Animas-San Juan River Conference, in Farmington, NM recently.

Special Collections at Western Carolina University’s Hunter Library recently received a gift of a Cherokee language version of E.B. White’s classic children’s book “Charlotte’s Web.”

Granny’s Kitchen has been awarded the Cherokee Pride Award for recognition of excellent customer service in the restaurant category, for businesses on the Qualla Boundary.
