Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation honors locals
Two locals have been honored by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF), an elk and wildlife conservation group that is based in Missoula, Mont. and has over 500 chapters nationwide.

Devalyn Crowe seeking Miss Indian World title
Devalyn Raylene Crowe, an EBCI tribal member and Yakama Nation descendant living in Washington state, will be seeking the Miss Indian World title at the upcoming pageant which starts on Thursday, April 27 in Albuquerque, NM as part of the Gathering of Nations Pow Wow.
Park to celebrate National Volunteer Week
Great Smoky Mountains National Park is hosting a volunteer work day at the Mountain Farm Museum on Tuesday, April 25.
Frankiewicz to vie for Miss Indian World
Karyl Frankiewicz, an EBCI tribal member, will compete for the title of Miss Indian World in Albuquerque, NM on April 25-29.
