It’s plowing time again! Do you need your garden plowed? Plowing began on March 1 and will continue through Saturday, May 30. It is free to all senior citizens and persons with disabilities that are EBCI tribal members.
Plowing will be done in Cherokee County on Monday, March 30 and in the Snowbird Community on Tuesday, March 31. For information on this, contact John Welch Senior Center (Cherokee County) (828) 835-9741 or the Snowbird Senior Center (828) 479-9145.
Others wanting plowing must pay $50 per garden space, and the fee must be paid prior to the garden being plowed. All fees must be paid at the senior centers. Garden spaces cannot be any larger than 70’ x 100’ and must be cleared of all debris. Info: 359-6860
