Cherokee hosted a multi-school meet for high school and middle school teams on Wednesday, Sept. 24. The Cherokee varsity boys team and the middle school girls team both took third place overall. Kendall Toineeta placed fourth in the varsity girls division with a time of 22:18.88. Darius Lambert took first place in the middle school boys race (two-mile track) with a time of 11:28.38. He was joined by teammate Yah Sadongei who came in third with a time of 12:48.78.
