SYLVA – Three residents of the Qualla Boundary were among 46 students who earned their associate degrees, diplomas or certificates from Southwestern Community College this summer. Those graduating included: Tommy Ethan Bales, College Transfer, Associate in Arts, New Century Scholar; Keawe Kul-se-tsi Bone, College Transfer, Associate in Arts; and Kaylind Selene Matthews, College Transfer Psychology, Associate in Arts.
All summer graduates will be eligible to walk during SCC’s fall graduation ceremony on Dec. 17.
