The family of Barbara Ann Ammons would like to express their appreciation to all of their friends and family who thought about us, sent cards, flowers or food, for the comforting words, for prayers and visits during our recent loss.
A special thanks goes to Dr. Vanderaak, Dr. Thertulian, Dr. Ross, Dr. Shell, Hope Women’s Cancer Center, the nursing staff at Cherokee Hospital, Betty’s Place, Women’s Wellness, Cherokee Police Department, Swain County Sherriff’s Department, Yellowhill community, Tribal Construction, Crisp Funeral Home director and staff who were the most helpful and caring, the Long Singers, Phyllis Shell, Yellowhill Church, Rock Springs Church, Bigwitch Church, and Antioch Church. Thank you to Reverend James “Bo” Parris and Reverend Ray Kinsland for their prayers and words of comfort. We would also like to thank the pallbearers: David Wolfe, “B’ Ensley, Eddie Welch, ”Moe” Davis, Dean Bradley and Nekyle Lossiah.
Again, we are so appreciative of such caring family and friends. We have lost much that can’t be replaced, but we are also left with much to cherish – memories, wisdom, strengths and hopefully an example that will inspire us to give or love to those who remain in our lives. After all, a mother’s/grandmother’s love is never lost, if it passed on.
Again thanks,
Terri and Tammy, Britnee, KaShayla, Chantele, Nekyle, Rhiannon, Wyatt, Colton, Kyrie and Makray
