Wilma Carolyn Moles, 77, of Miami, Florida passed away on Monday July 16, 2012 at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Ga. following an extended illness. At the time of her passing, she had been residing in Dalton with her sister, Maxine Bumgarner.
She was a registered nurse, and was a native of Cherokee, but made her home in Miami, Fla. She was a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kyle Moles and her mother, Vera Bradley Moles.
She is survived by her son, David Hyatt Reynolds, of Cherokee; granddaughters, Raven Reynolds, and Phoenix Reynolds of Cherokee; brothers, Bill Moles of Hartsville, SC and Dennis Moles of Miami, Fla.; sisters, Maxine Bumgarner of Dalton, Ga. and Janice Sutton of Gastonia; nineteen nieces and nephews and numerous beloved cousins.
The family will receive friends at the chapel of Long House Funeral Home in Cherokee on Wednesday July 18, 2012 from 5-9pm. The funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Thursday July 19, 2012 at 2pm. Bishop Tim McCourtney will officiate. Pall Bearers will be Denny Moles, Travis Moles, Simon Montelongo, Salvador Cickens, Jeffery Don Kawalzyc and John Parker. Burial will follow at the Jerome Bradley Cemetery.
