2011 W-2 INFORMATION
The Club’s Payroll Department is working diligently to get the information together to print W-2 forms for the year ending 12-31-11. The law requires that these documents be released by January 31, 2012. The W-2 forms will be released as early as possible to everyone at the same time.
RENOVATIONS CONTINUE
Renovations are still in progress at the Boys Club’s Administration Building. The construction work continues on the Club’s Lobby and Break Room area. Work is also continuing on the former General Manager’s residence behind the Club’s Administrative Office which will become the new home of the Family Support Services program This program is currently located on Goose Creek Road in the Birdtown Community.
Family Support Services hopes to move into their new offices within the next 60 days. Please watch future editions of the One Feather for updated information regarding this move.
2012 DATE LOGS AVAILABLE
The Boys Club has a limited supply of 2012 Date Logs available. Come by the Club’s Information Desk to pick up your complimentary copy.
OPENINGS FOR PRE-SCHOOL STUDENTS AT AGELINK
Agelink currently has six openings in the three-year old classroom and eight in the four/five-year old classroom. Please call Tammy Bradley at 497-6726 for more information about enrolling your child.
Agelink will also begin fundraising activities to raise money to take the children to the Circus at the Bi-Lo Center in South Carolina and for their summer trip. Please watch the Boys Club Bulletin and One Feather Report for information on these activities.
CLUB PURPOSES
One of the Boys Club’s purposes is to provide educational opportunities, vocational training and leadership experience for Cherokee people, especially youth. Another purpose is to provide employment for Tribal Members. The Club also provides services for the Tribe, the School and the Communities. The Club provides the Children’s Home and other services to children and families and assists with recreational activities for Cherokee Youth.
