BOYS CLUB’S ADMINISTRATION BUILDING RECEIVES FACELIFT
The Club’s Construction and Facilities Department is currently providing renovation and updates to the Boys Club’s Administration Building and offices. The updates will provide a more secure and attractive work environment for staff and will ensure the Club’s compliance with HIPPA regulations as they pertain to the Payroll and HR Offices.
The changes will also allow all of the Bus and Truck Department’s offices to be accessible from the front lobby which will be more convenient to the drivers and staff of that department.
Renovation is also in progress to provide office space for the Club’s Family Support Services program that will soon relocate to the Club’s campus. Family Support Services is currently located in the Birdtown Community.
All construction and renovation should be completed within the next few weeks. Please pardon our mess but know that the Club is operating at full capacity and will be able to assist with the needs of the School, Tribe and Community.

26th ANNUAL FRELL OWL AWARD PRESENTED
Congratulations to Sandi Owle who was presented the 26th Annual Frell Owl Award at the Cherokee Boys Club’s Board Appreciation Dinner on Dec. 21, 2011. This award was named for the late Frell Owl, respected Cherokee educator and leader. This recognition has been given to individuals who have significantly contributed to the well-being of Cherokee children and families.

Congratulations to Sherry Toineeta on the birth of a granddaughter, Lillianna Kristina Casha Rattler. Lillianna was born on Dec. 23, 2011 and weighed 6 lbs. 5 oz. She is the daughter of Taryn and Swann Rattler.
