CHA officials related, “Joining the Cherokee Historical Association Membership is a wonderful way of supporting us and our mission statement which is “To perpetuate and preserve the history and culture of the Cherokee people”. The Trail of Tears Walk is just one of many ways we remember those that made such a sacrifice during a dark time in history. Through your continued support we are able to honor the past while we secure a place for the future.”
