Braves coach Andrew Maney commented, “With two of our normal six players gone this week on the senior trip, Tagan and Derrick, I was especially proud of guys filling those spots today. Logan shot his personal career best with a 43 and Christian played the one spot and done well.”

Logan Teesateskie, who shot his career best of 43, took home third place overall in the individual category.  The top two individual medalists were Ben Cornblum, from Swain, with 35 taking first and Tyler Shields, from Rosman, with 38 taking second.

“This match should be good momentum for us going into next week, which will be needed as the conference tournament begins,” said Coach Maney.

The Braves will play the first round of the Smoky Mountain Tournament on Thursday, April 24 when they travel to Chatuge Shores in Hayesville.  They will travel to Sapphire National on Monday, April 28 to complete the second round.
