Originally formed in 1967, Chicago is one of those rare bands that has maintained its success, featured original talent, and garnered decades of top 40 hits in the process. The first band to chart 40 albums in 50 decades, they scored 21 top-ten hits including 11 #1 hits like “If You Leave Me Now,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” and “Look Away.”
Their accolades include AMA’s for Favorite Rock Band in 1977 and 1986 – a testament to their longevity. They were featured in Billboard’s 2008 Top 100 artists of all time at an impressive #13, right behind illustrious artists such as Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and the Rolling Stones. Chicago has keys from multiple cities, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a Congressional proclamation of honor.
