ROSMAN – The Cherokee Middle School basketball teams traveled to Rosman on Thursday, Jan. 23 and came away with wins. The boys won 48-18 and the girls were victorious 65-51. Timiyah Browh led the Lady Braves with 14pts followed by Tori Teesateskie with 11. Other Lady Braves scorers included: Breece Saunooke 3, Kaylee Locust 3, Jamie Lossiah 2, Macie Welch 8, Jordan Maney 4 and Carla Wolfe 2. The CMS basketball teams will be in action in the Smoky Mountain Conference middle school tournament in Murphy starting Saturday, Jan. 25.
