Cherokee nurses complete Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum Victoria Harlan, RN, manager of the Cherokee Indian Hospital Emergency Department, and Dana Nelson, RN, recently completely Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum course at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine.  Wanda Makhyoun, RN, and Dana Wiseman, RN (both not pictured), also completed the course.  The class covered head-to-toe assessment of patient needs and was sponsored by Emergency Nursing Association.  Recertification is required every four years.  (CIHA photo)
