Due to a power line down on Kenneth Sneed Road in the Birdtown Community, most of that community is without power. According to Mollie Grant, EBCI Emergency Management, power has been out since around 7:45am.
Grant said her crew is taking water to various households and doing checks. She related that Old No. 4 Road will probably be without power until at least 11:30am.
Grant related that Tsali Manor is open and is a good place for elders to keep warm and receive a meal. If you need assistance from Emergency Management, call 554-6434 or 554-6433.
