Congratulations to Frank Cooper, who served as Finance and Audit Manager for the Boys Club for the past 11 years.  Frank has served the Boys Club and Cherokee Central Schools well during his tenure here.  Friday, Jan. 10 is Frank’s last day at the Boys Club.  We wish him well in his future endeavors.

CONGRATULATIONS

The Boys Club congratulates Ken Blankenship who recently retired from his position as Director of the Museum of the Cherokee Indian.  The Club also congratulates Dorothy Posey, long-time Manager of the Cherokee Branch of Mountain Credit Union who is also retiring.  Our best wishes to both of these outstanding individuals.

HEALTH SCREEN DATE CHANGE

Community Health has requested that we have our monthly Health Screen on Jan. 14 instead of Jan. 21.  The time will be the same (7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.) in the Club’s Lobby.  This service is provided at no cost to all Club employees.  Take advantage of a blood pressure and glucose check!

THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

Our sincere sympathy goes to the friends and families of Marie Walkingstick Pheasant, Henry Oocumma and Doug Lambert.  We ask that you keep them all in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are also with the friends and families of Robert Edward Bigmeat who passed away on Saturday and to the friends and families of Lee Teesateskie of the Snowbird Community who passed away on Sunday.
