Donation made to Madison Hornbuckle Foundation

Through various fundraisers including the Chief’s Challenge race earlier this month, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians donated $22,458.39 to the Madison Hornbuckle Children’s Cancer Foundation. The donation was made on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Harrah’s Cherokee Resort Event Center. Shown (left-right) are Corky Swayney, Madison’s grandmother; First Lady Marsha Hicks; former First Lady Janice Jones; Jeremy Hyatt, EBCI Executive Office; Principal Chief Michell Hicks; Jeremiah Wiggins; and Charlie Myers.
