Anthony Paul Kekahbah went to be with to his Heavenly home on Sunday evening March 3, 2013. He was born on Feb. 13, 1965 and was 48 years old living in Washington, DC his entire life.
He was preceded in death by his dad Gerald Patrick Kekahbah; paternal grandparents Francis Kekahbah and Angeline Toomey Kekahbah; maternal grandparents, Samuel Panther and Emmaline Sequoyah Driver; aunt Janice Joy Kekahbah; uncles Thomas Richard Driver and Nicky Sylvester Driver.
He is survived by his mother Alice Panther Kekahbah; sister Janice Kekahbah and husband James Wildcatt; nephews James Seven Kekahbah and Gerald Patrick Kekahbah II; niece Toni Pauline Kekahbah; uncles, Ernest Panther, Sam “Snake” and wife Carolyn Panther, Floyd and wife Freida Panther, Sam “Sonny” and Sharon Panther, Rick Panther, Kenny and wife Diane Panther, Jim Panther, Frank and wife Liz Kekahbah, Rollin and wife Twila Kekahbah, Curtis and wife Mary Kekahbah and Paul Samuel and wife Sue Kekahbah; aunts Wilma Pheasant, Katherine Panther, Alma Johns, Hattie Panther, Anita E. Ellwood, Nelma Jean Bradley, Loretta and husband Morgan Bradley, Pat Panther, Gloria Panther, Debbie Panther; one great aunt Amanda Sequoyah Swimmer and 100 plus cousins in Cherokee, Oklahoma, Kansas, Oregon and North Dakota.
Funeral services are still pending Anthony’s arrival to North Carolina and may fall in to the coming week. Please check back for an update on services in the next couple of days.
