Qualla Arts & Crafts and Cherokee Talents are hosting several upcoming classes:
– Honeysuckle Basket making with Pam Conseen Adams. Jan. 17-18 (Thursday and Friday) and Jan. 24-25 from 5-7pm at Qualla Arts & Crafts
– Pine Needle Basket making with Nancy Hornbuckle. Jan. 14, 15, 17, 18 from 5-7pm at the Qualla Public Library
– Pottery for parent/child with Lucy Dean Reed. Jan. 19-20 from 3-6pm at Wolfetown Community Building.
– Finish your Woodcarving with Dewey Owle. Feb. 2 from 11am – 1pm at Qualla Arts & Crafts
– Mat Class with Jim Long. Feb. 4, 5, 7, 8 from 5-7pm at the Qualla Public Library
There is no charge for these classes as they are funded by a grant from the Cherokee Preservation Foundation.
