Tuesday, Nov. 20 – Health Screen – 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 21 – Cherokee Boys Club BOD Meeting – 8:30 a.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 21 – School Furlough Day

Thursday, Nov. 22 – Thanksgiving Holiday (School, Club and Tribe)

Friday, Nov. 23 – Tsali Day Holiday (School, Club and Tribe)



Congratulations to the members of the Club’s Halloween Committee for their hard work and dedication to the Safe Kids Trick or Treat event. The Club won the 2012 Safe Kids Trick or Treat Night Rod Cooper Best Booth Award this year. The theme the Club’s entry was based on was the animated television series Phineas and Ferb.


Thanks to the following people who were very instrumental in making the 2012 Safe Trick or Treat event a success:  Keyonna Hornbuckle – Costumes; Stephen Little – Booth Preparation; Tuff Jackson – Booth Preparation; Travis Hicks – Booth Preparation; Charlie Welch – Booth Preparation; Tiff Reed and Trista Welch – Coordinators.  Thanks also to the characters:  Phineas – Tre Owle; Ferb – Silas Reed-Littlejohn; Perry – Leslie Lossiah; Buford – Ietan Reed-Littlejohn; Dr. Doofenshmirtz – Terry Bradley; Baljeet – Hayes Reed; Candice – Elise Cooper; Stacy – Joanna Kalonaheskie; and Isabella – Macie Welch.

The Construction and Facilities Department is still accepting applications for temporary workers for all disciplines of construction work.  Please see the receptionist at the Club’s Information window for more information.



Family Support Services began taking applications for the 2012 Christmas Store on Monday, Nov. 5, at the Family Support Services Office – 134 Cherokee Boys Club Loop (former residence of Ray Kinsland).  The deadline for completing applications will be on Friday, Nov. 30 at 4:30 p.m.  For more information, contact Leslie Lossiah at 497-6092.



The 2013 Cherokee Boys Club Executive Desk Calendars are now available.  If you would like to pick up a copy, please see the Receptionist at the Information Window of the Club.  There will be a limit of two calendars per person.



The building formerly occupied by the Juvenile Services program on the Boys Club’s campus is vacant and available for rent.  If you or your program is interested in leasing this building, please call Tommy Lambert, General Manager, at 497-9101.
