Wednesday, April 11 – Board Resolution Deadline – 8:30 a.m.

Monday, April 16 – Health Screen – 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Wednesday, April 18 – Club Board Meeting – 8:30 a.m.

Thursday, April 19 – Safety Committee Meeting – 11:30 a.m.

Resolution 2478 – Approve Head Parker for Club’s 2012 Agreement with Cherokee Historical Association – Unto These Hills – Passed (June Wolfe)

Resolution 2479 – Approve Club’s Sponsorship of 2011-12 Braves Achievement Awards – Passed

Resolution 2480 – Approve selection of Electrician for Construction and Facilities – Passed (Rickey Cutshaw)

Resolution 2481 – Approve selection of Lead Mason and Carpenter’s Helpers for Construction and Facilities – Passed (Lead Mason – Melvin Blaine Cucumber; Carpenter’s Helpers – Mark Donald Mead, William David Cline, and Justin E. Long)

Resolution 2482 – Approve selection of Assistant Teacher for Child Care Department – Passed (Brittney Welch)

ROAD CLOSURE

     Children’s Home Loop will be closed to through traffic on Friday, April 6.  Concrete work will be done in the vicinity of the gas pumps.  The gas pumps will still be available for use; however, there will be no through traffic from the Boys Club to the Agelink end of Children’s Home Loop.

CONGRATULATIONS ALYSSA AND BUD

     The Club’s Administration and Shop Departments held a “Baby Shower” for Shop employee Alyssa Plummer and Bud Cline on Friday.  Alyssa is due any time and we wish her well!

CONGRATULATIONS JROTC

     Congratulations to the Cherokee JROTC for an outstanding year and for receiving the highest scores on their inspection since the JROTC has been at the School.  Congratulations also for an outstanding 27th Annual JROTC Military Ball!
