Mark Duncan Quinn Holloway – obituary

          Mark Duncan Quinn Holloway, 63 of Cherokee died at Memorial Mission Hospital Campus on February 14, 2011 after an extended illness. 

          He is survived by his wife, Paula H. Holloway; children, Craig Holloway of Maggie Valley, Heather Holloway of Rochester, Indiana, Dirk Welch, and Will Arch both of Cherokee; and two grandchildren, Luci Parker and Olivia Huskey.  He is also survived by his brothers, James Holloway of Martinsville, Indiana and Joseph Holloway of Mooresville, Indiana; sisters, Beverley Dwinell of Louisville, Kentucky, Mary Ann Holloway of Japan, Indiana, Faith McClain of Mooresville, Indiana, and Verna Mae Oliver of Plymouth, Indiana.

          He was preceded in death by his parents, James Monroe Holloway, and Sarah Maxine Duncan Holloway, and one brother, Max Monroe Holloway. 

          The funeral service will be held at Wright’s Creek Baptist Church on Friday February 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM.  The visitation will be held at the church beginning at 11:00 AM Friday until the service hour.   The burial will follow in the Hornbuckle cemetery adjacent to the church.

          The Rev. Dan Lambert and the Rev. Bo Parris will officiate. Pall bearers will be Dirk Welch, Forrest Stamper, John Ross, Jason Parker, Ethan Arch, Greg Smith, Bud Smith and John Mormon.

          Long House Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
