Grady McArthur Owle, 69, of the Birdtown Community, passed away Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 in Rock Hill, SC. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Dewitt and Eva McCoy Owle. He was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Long; brother, Mike Owle; and a son, Jeffrey B. Owle.
He is survived by a son, Mac Keith Owle; three sisters, Frances Arneach and husband George of Cherokee, Elizabeth Crowe of Cherokee, and Ester Waldroup and husband Buddy of Cherokee; one brother, William Paul Owle of Cherokee; and several grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Crisp Funeral Home, Bryson City, is in charge of the arrangements.
