Jill Catherine Lozano
Jill Catherine Lozano, age 47, of Cherokee, died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva. Mrs. Lozano was born January 23, 1963 in Appelton, WI. She is the daughter of the late Clayton and Shirley (Leclaire) Mikkelson.
She was employed as desk manager in the Hotel Business. She is survived by her husband: Willie Lozano of the home; two sons, Christopher Waxler of Cherokee, NC, and Charles Waxler of FL; two sisters, Jackie Nixon of FL, and Joyce Lugo of LA; and five brothers: Jary Mikkelson, Jon Mikkelson, Jeff Mikkelson, and Jerry Mikkelson, all of FL, and Joseph Mikkelson of WI. A private family service will be held at a later date.
