Rebecca “Becky” Hunter Ledford, 62, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late James William Hunter and Mildred Davis Hunter Blue. Ms. Ledford was of the baptist faith and loved doing bead work. Becky was deeply loved and will be missed by her family.
Surviving are her husband, Lyle Kirkland of Cherokee, NC; children, Donnie, Kim, and Crystal all of Lincolnton, NC; step-son, Richard Kirkland of Cherokee, NC; 3 nieces, 3 nephews; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, William Gary Hunter (Joyce Ann) of Camden, SC, and sister, Vickie Gail Massey (Jack) of Whittier, NC
Services were Saturday, January 30, at 11:30 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home , Kershaw, SC, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Daggett Duncan officiated. The family will received friends Friday, January 29 from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
