Dean Hayes Cheek
GORE, OK – Dean Hayes Cheek, 73, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, in Gore, Oklahoma. He was born April 18, 1936 to George and Vida Faye Hayes Cheek in Mangum, Oklahoma.
He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Marine Corp.
He was a Native American Artist.
He is survived by his daughter Gael Cheatwood of Livermore, CA; 3 grandchildren: Meghan, Meera and Connor Jackson Dean Cheatwood. A sister Donna Adamson of Sonora, Ca, 2 nieces Shena Davis and Cassy Adamson, 1 great niece Kirina Davis and many friends and relatives.
Services were Wednesday, Jan. 13 beginning at 11am at Rogue Wolf Burial Grounds in Gore, Oklahoma
