Haywood EMC and North Carolina’s Touchstone Energy cooperatives are offering all-expense paid scholarships for middle school students from across the state to attend basketball camps this summer at two of North Carolina’s largest college campuses.

For 11-year-old Tori Teesateskie, basketball is her passion. Recently, she paired her passion for hoops with a passion to help educate the Cherokee community about diabetes.
