The Cherokee Preservation Foundation gave a $200,000 donation to the Cherokee Children’s Home on Tuesday, Jan. 14. The Cherokee Boys Club has raised over $200,000 in the past year, and Tuesday’s donation represents a match of that amount.

Upon returning to Cherokee from a business trip late one evening last summer, my girlfriend gave me a small box wrapped in simple white paper.
