Cherokee Weaving history discussed at Museum
Karen George, an EBCI tribal member and master fingerweaver, makes beautiful fingerwoven belts, sashes and garters using materials and techniques that were used frequently in the 18th Century. But, the history of Cherokee weaving goes back much farther than the 1700s.

EBCI Transit wins team competition at State Roadeo
The EBCI Transit team of Dennis Junaluska, Shan Standingdeer and Michael Jay Shell took first place in the team competition at the North Carolina Public Transportation Conference and Roadeo held April 5-6 in Charlotte.
