Tribal Court Dockets for Sept. 5 and 6
This is a criminal docket date for the Cherokee Tribal Court. All of the defendants listed have only been charged with the crimes/offenses listed and should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Council to consider repealing drug court
At the June 7 session of Tribal Council, an ordinance was introduced proposing to remove the section of Cherokee Code that established the drug court. Council will consider the issue at the Sept. 6 session.
