EPA improves Clean-Air Permitting in Indian Country
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized rules on Monday, June 13 to ensure that Clean Air Act permitting requirements are applied consistently to facilities in Indian country to better protect the health of people living near them.

Wiggins named Manager at United Community Bank – Cherokee
United Community Bank – Cherokee announced this week that Lisa Wiggins has been promoted to Manager. Wiggins has been with United since 1999. She graduated from Western Carolina University in 1992 with a BS in Education. Wiggins is married to her husband of 18 years and they have four children.
