Tyron Willard Freeman (Bill) passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019 at Tsali Care in Cherokee at the age of 77. 

Judy Regina Bird, 48, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt went home to be with the Lord after a brief illness on Friday, Aug. 23, 2019.

Lillian Saunooke Franklin, 80, of the Birdtown Community, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Aug. 23, 2019.

Mary Lou Feather Taylor, 65, of the Yellowhill Community, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019.

Rosemary Powell, 67, of Cherokee, passed away following a brief illness at the Tsali Care Center on Friday, Aug. 16, 2019 with her loving family at her side.

Dinah (Tooni) George, 97, of Cherokee, passed away at the Cherokee Indian Hospital on Monday, Aug. 12, 2019 following a extended illness.  

Josephine K. Calhoun, 68, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Wednesday, Aug. 7 and was a life-long resident of Cherokee. 

Coleman Wayne “Buddha” Terrell, 36, a native of Swain County, answered his Master’s call on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 after many medical issues.
