Catherine Marie Armachain, 21, of Cherokee, passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2019.

McAdoo Levi Driver, 70, of the Big Cove Community of Cherokee, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, Sept. 12.

Cody John DeCoteau, 27, of Cherokee, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Sept. 9, 2019 at the Swain County Hospital in Bryson City.  

Rev. Denny Crowe, 70, of Cherokee, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019. A native of Cherokee, he was the son of the late Joseph George and Edith Crowe George.

Burton “Frog” Littlejohn passed away on Aug. 28, 2019.  He was born in Swain County on June 30, 1970 to the late Jim and Mollie Littlejohn.  

Joseph Welch Oocumma Jr., born Jan. 2, 1962, passed away on Aug. 31, 2019 at the Cherokee Indian Hospital following a brief, unexpected illness.

Margaret Toineeta Owl, 99, went home to be with her husband, Raymond; daughter, June; son, George; and grandsons Ray and Chucky on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019.

James Owen Navin, 74, of Aiken, S.C., passed away at his home unexpectedly on Aug. 19, 2019.
