These following ordinances, provided by the TOP Office, were read and tabled during the Feb. 7 Tribal Council session: 

Round two of the shutdown debate is now over as President Donald Trump, who sought $5.6 billion in funding to go toward building a wall on the border of Mexico, announced he would sign the funding bill.

Kituwah LLC, was created with the sole purpose of identifying and implementing revenue sources for the Tribe through the diversification of our income portfolios. Its mission is “To create and acquire profitable and sustainable businesses and investments that provide sustainable opportunities for the members of the Eastern
Band of Cherokee Indians.”

Tribal Court Judgment Summary for Feb. 7

This is a criminal docket date for the Cherokee Tribal Court. All of the defendants listed have only been charged with the crimes/offenses listed and should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The family of Abraham Wachacha was presented with a flag of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians during Tribal Council on Thursday, Feb. 7, in honor of his service to the tribe as a Tribal Council representative for the Cherokee County/Snowbird Community.
