Last June, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians opened the Fire Mountain Trail System, a 10+ mile mountain bike trail system, and since then, the trail has been receiving flowering reviews. 

This month has flown by. I started the month off with the Gatlinburg parade, and then I was able to be in the Bryson City parade the very next day.

For many, the holiday season is a time to be spent in the company of friends and family celebrating honored traditions; for the Jones-Bowman Leadership Award Fellows, their tradition is their annual group service project.
