CULLOWHEE – “An Evening with Shane Bitney Crone” will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 24, in the Blue Ridge Conference Room of Western Carolina University’s Balsam Hall.
The event will include a free screening of the film “Bridegroom,” an award-winning documentary directed by Linda Bloodworth Thomason that focuses on the emotional journey of Crone and his late partner, Thomas Lee Bridegroom. The film will be followed by a question-and-answer session with Crone.
The event is sponsored by the College Democrats at WCU and co-sponsored by WCU’s Department of Intercultural Affairs, Department of Leadership and Student Involvement, Last Minute Productions and Student Government Association and the organizations IRIS and PFLAG of Hendersonville.
