I would like to thank the following people for helping to make Bill Reed’s memorial and birthday celebration a success: Dinah Grant for getting the building and making sure we had tables and chairs; Mark Grant for ordering the pig; James Pepion for designing and burning the ball sticks; Bruce for announcing and keeping everything in order; Walker Lee for working the balloon table; the Big Cove and Hummingbirds players who came out to play ball; the Wolftown Indianball team for providing the pig and setting up and cleaning up afterwards.
Thank you to everyone who came out to spend the evening with us and bringing food. It was delicious. It was a great day and it was especially good to see all of Bill’s old ball players together.
