EBCI tribal member Shan Goshorn, of Tulsa, Okla., won two awards at the 42nd Annual Trail of Tears Art Show and Sale hosted by the Cherokee Heritage Center. She took first place in the Basketry category for her work entitled “Preparing for the Fall”, and she won second place in the Graphics category for her work “They Were Called Kings”.
