The voter registration and community changes period has closed for the upcoming Tribal Referendum vote scheduled for Thursday, April 12. The EBCI Board of Elections will accept absentee requests until Wednesday, March 28 at 4:30pm. All absentee ballots must be back in the BOE office by Monday, April 2. Remember, an absentee request consists of filling out an application to prove you meet one of the six criteria. The BOE will be open extended hours until 7pm for absentee requests on March 19, 20, 22, 26 and 27. The BOE is now located in the Ginger Lynn Welch Complex (Suite 140). Info: 554-6361
