Michael Dock Lambert, 59, formally of Cherokee, NC went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 8, 2011 in Prosperity, SC.
A native of Swain County, he had lived in Martin, GA for the past four years. He was the son of the late Dock and Helen McGee Lambert.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Ray Owle. He is survived by his wife, Becky Palmer Lambert; one daughter, Michelle Elizabeth Presnell and husband Ben of N. Augusta, SC; one son, Elliott Rocheleau and fiancée Leah Floyd of N. Augusta, SC; grandson, Carter Ayden Presnell; mother-in-law, Connie Palmer of N. Augusta, SC; two sisters, Sandy Sneed and husband Hill of Cherokee, Madge Owle and husband Raymond of Cherokee; two brothers, Samuel J. Lambert and wife Hillane of Cherokee, Ted M. Lambert and wife Stephanie of Lavonia, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Tow String Cemetery. Ray Kinsland will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Crisp Funeral Home.
