Purpose |
The Intertribal Timber Council is dedicated to supporting American Indian and Alaska Native students pursuing higher education in the natural resources by sponsoring a scholarship in honor of Truman D. Picard. |
Eligibility |
Pursuing higher education to study Natural Resources; High school student graduating in 2011 or student currently attending an institution of higher education; Enrolled member of federally recognized tribe or Alaska Native Corporation as established by the U.S. government. |
General Information |
Must demonstrate commitment to education, community and culture, academic merit, financial need, and interest in Natural Resources. |
Awards |
Graduating High School Seniors $1,500 each Currently Enrolled College Students $2,000 each |
