LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Praises care at Cherokee Indian Hospital

This is not something I would normally do, but I want to share my experiences so that it may help someone else.

I was extremely sick and I spent 28 hours in a span of three visits to a local h***hole they call a hospital.  I was told repeatedly that there was nothing wrong with me, given fluids, and sent home.  At one point, my blood pressure was 80/40!

Finally, I was taken to the hospital in Cherokee where they found what was wrong with me in a very short period of time.  If I had not been taken there, I would have died.  It’s a miracle I didn’t.  I can’t remember four days of my life I was so sick.  I just want people to know that the level of care I received in Cherokee far surpasses anything I have ever received anywhere.

The entire staff was amazing to deal with.  Their care and kindness cannot be commended enough.  Their facility is state-of-the-art and lacks nothing to make a patient feel more comfortable.  There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I would not be on this Earth now if it weren’t for them!  Words can’t thank them enough!
