Crystal Monique Brady, 32, of Sevierville, Tenn. and a member of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians, passed away on March 1, 2015.
Crystal is the daughter of Ralph Edward Brady (wife Tracy) and Peggy Henley Hutchins (husband Clint) of Yadkinville. Crystal lived in Sevierville, Tenn. where she was a member of the First United Methodist. She was active as she could be in the church and lived a good life and overcame many hurdles in her life even with a congenital heart defect. She was a straight forward young woman who made her own choices and spoke her mind. She placed her life in the Lord’s hands. Summed up in a post on face book that read, “I made all of this from nothing, trust me I can take care of you”, signed God.
Along with her parents, Crystal is survived by her grandparents Blanche McCoy Vickers and Papaw Frank; brothers: John Adam Brady and Dakota Brady both of Sevierville, Casey Moretz and Nick Weavil both of Yadkinville; sisters: Kimberly Brady of Winston-Salem, Ashely Heflin of Nashville, Tenn. and Karisa Robertson of Lewisville; aunts: Keri and Carma Brady of Sevierville; nieces: Gabrielle Brady, Nevaeh Brady and Hailey McClure; nephews; Nathan Brady, Korbin Heflin and Jordan Goings. Crystal also leaves behind many friends and extended family in both Tennessee and North Carolina.
Crystal is preceded in death by grandfather, Robert Brady; uncles: Henry McCoy and Kallup McCoy.
A visitation was held on Friday, March 6 at Long House Funeral Home. The funeral service followed with Pastor Drew Henry officiating.
