We would like to take this opportunity to extend our appreciation to everyone who sent flowers, cards, made a phone call, expressed a kind word and especially, for all the prayers and singers who came to the Acquoni Church to sing during the loss of our beloved “Topper” Jonathan Taylor Jr. A special thanks to East Alarka Baptist Church singers, the Old Antioch Baptist Church singers, Pastors Ed Kilgore, Denny Crowe, and Albert Martin for the wonderful funeral service, the Ledford Family at Crisp Funeral Home for the outstanding arrangements, compassion and sympathy showed to the family.
Many thanks to the Tribal Construction workers who dug the grave and was there for the burial services, the ladies who prepared lunch for them, the Tribal Facility employees who delivered tables and chairs to the home, the ladies of Acquoni Church who prepared dinner for everyone, The Wolfetown Free Labor, Rocksprings Baptist Church Choir, Old Antioch Church Choir, Acquoni Baptist Church Choir, Yellowhill Church Choir, Straightfork Baptist Church Choir, Macedonia Church Choir, Locust Family, Reed Family, East Alarka Quartet, and the Cherokee Police department for all their assistance.
We would also like to thank Dr. Shell, Dr. Niezes, the ER staff and In-Patient Staff of the Cherokee Indian Hospital for their outstanding care of our loved one. A huge thank you to the Tsali Care staff for the wonderful and compassionate care they gave Topper each day. A special thanks to Molly and Jessica who transported him to his medical appointments with great care.
