Roxie Wiggins, 89, of the Birdtown Community, passed away Friday, Nov. 14, 2014 at Tsali Care Center in Cherokee. A native of Cherokee, she was the daughter of the late Emery Martin and Myrtle Lambert Martin Enloe and wife of the late Walter Wiggins. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
She is survived by two children; Allen Dale Rowland and wife Ella Mae of Cherokee, Gaynelle Estes of Cherokee; two grandchildren, Jamie Rowland and fiancée Heather Queen and Angie Jones and husband Jeff; five great grandchildren, Caleb Rowland, Callie Cook, Coy Rowland, Taylor Jones, and Kyndle Jones; two sisters, Beulah Benfield, Mary Ellen Rhodes and husband Clarence, and one Brother Harold Enloe and wife Helen.
Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on Sunday, Nov. 16 in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Danny Lambert and Percy Cunningham will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1-3pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
