Tahnee Lynn Arkansas, 21, of the Yellowhill Community of Cherokee, NC passed away unexpectedly on June 28, 2014 at Mission Hospital. Tahnee is the daughter of Robert “Toad” Lynn Arch and Michelle “Biddie” Bradley. Tahnee also leaves behind two sisters, Emra Kate Arkansas and Nonah Zae Millsaps; one brother, Philip “Perry” Arkansas; step father Bryan Wesley; and nephew Keagan Patrick Jenkins. Also, a countless number of extended family and friends.
Tahnee is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Liz Bigmeat Jackson, Philip Arkansas, Lillian Kate Sneed Arkansas, Shon Bradley and Lille Mae Stanley Bradley; great aunt Melba Arkansas Saunooke.
A visitation was held on Tuesday, July 1 at the Chief Joyce Dugan Cultural Arts Center. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 2 at the Cherokee Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Pall Bearers included: Troy Arch, Earl Martin, Buster Arch, Buddy Arch, Jasper Knighton, Christian Crowe and honorary pall bearers Philip Brandon Saunooke, Joshua Herrell Saunooke and Max Hawke Saunooke. Bishop Don Cutler officiated.
Long House Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
