Dennis Ray Jumper, 53, of the Snowbird Community passed away on July 5, 2014. Dennis is the son of Leroy Jumper and Virginia Jones Key.
Also surviving, daughter Amanda Walters of Robbinsville; step sons, David Joseph Walters and Daniel Walters; granddaughter Lily Walters; wife, Lisa Marie Little Jumper; brothers, Timothy Jumper, Anthony Jumper and wife Crystal; great aunt Reba Rattler; uncles, Matthew Jumper of Brunswick Ga, John Paul Jumper of Dallas, NC, Jim Jumper, James Jumper both of Robbinsville; nephews, Jack, Josie, Michael and Nathaniel Jumper; great nephew Jarrett Jumper; nieces, Misty Orr, Veronica Anderson and Sarah Jumper all of Robbinsville.
Dennis is preceded in death by grandparents, Ute Jumper and Elsie Jumper; one sister, Benita Jumper.
A visitation was held on Monday, July 7 at the Zion Baptist Church in the Snowbird community. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 8. Burial followed in the family cemetery. Pall Bearers were: Jake Jumper, Josie Jumper, Oren Jumper, Christopher “Moo” Paul Key, Danny Key, Robert Key and Reece Orr. Pastor Michael Rattler and Pastor Phillip Ellington officiated.
