May 24 from 9am – 5pm at the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum in Vonore, Tenn. EBCI tribal member Mary W. Thompson will teach a class on making a reed market basket w/handle. Kits will include natural splints, dyed splints and rims for $60 and an additional $10 for the class fee. The class fee is waived for Museum members.
